Wet (Review)

If I had to describe Wet in one word, that would be “ambitious”.

Truth be told, I didn’t have very high expectations when I started the game. I literally just got it because of the badass-looking chick on the cover, for real. I mean, there’s really not much to expect as far as story goes when you’re playing as an assassin for hire. It also didn’t help that a friend who played the demo told me not long after I bought the game that he found the demo boring. Continue reading

Bully: Scholarship Edition (Review)

Bully was, to put it simply, a very pleasant surprise. I must have spent at least a couple of hours thinking that I was having way too much fun playing a game in which I was a (not so) big bad bully. Needless to say, the game had its flaws, but it’s all so insignificant when I compare it to the simple enjoyability of the game. Batman: Arkham Asylum (Review)

So I went into this right after finishing Tomb Raider (2013) twice… One hour into the game I realized that was a terrible mistake. Let me make it very clear that I loved Tomb Raider, and one of the things I loved the most was just how emotional Lara is throughout the entire game. So Batman and his unchanging grim face kind of felt irritating. But well, I should’ve seen that coming.

Luckily the feeling only lasted for the first couple of hours of gameplay, then I got pretty invested. Continue reading
